With a current price of 499,90 € (as of 9/24), this stylish office chair sits in the mid-range price segment. The FlexiSpot BS13 stands out with an elegant combination of well-thought-out functionality and aesthetic design. This desk chair is not just a piece of furniture, but a statement of efficiency and style in the modern office or home office. The intelligent design of the FlexiSpot BS13 makes working more comfortable and productive. Its robust construction ensures durability and reliability, even with intensive use. FlexiSpot is best known above all for its height-adjustable desks. However, its product range also includes other furniture, such as office chairs. Whether in day-to-day office work or in your home study, the FlexiSpot BS13 offers a comfortable and stylish seating option in both settings. The FlexiSpot BS13 is a very popular office chair and impresses with an elegant combination of well-thought-out functionality and aesthetic design. But what features really lie behind this eye-catching chair?

The futuristic design is inspired by geometric shapes, which also gives it a timeless look. The FlexiSpot BS13 is available in three different colours: red, black and a light grey. Its modern tone-on-tone design makes it a real eye-catcher in any workspace. It has already won several awards for its appearance for good reason.  The ergonomically shaped backrest is covered with a special knitted fabric that is breathable, so you will not break a sweat even on hot summer days. The sturdy aluminium base ensures excellent stability. The FlexiSpot BS13 is fitted with free-running office chair castors, so it rolls even when no one is sitting on it. The slim armrests and the lumbar support also blend elegantly into the overall look in the same colour palette.

In addition to its outstanding design, the FlexiSpot BS13 also offers a range of ergonomic features to provide you with optimum support throughout your working day.

Mechanism: The FlexiSpot BS13 office chair is equipped with a permanent contact mechanism. This means that only the backrest moves when you lean back, while the seat remains in place.

Height-adjustable lumbar support: To provide optimal relief for your lower back, it features a flexibly adjustable, padded lumbar support that promotes a healthy sitting posture.

Ergonomically shaped backrest: The ergonomically shaped backrest, covered in a breathable fabric, adapts to your spine and can be tilted in three positions. The backrest tension can also be conveniently adjusted using a lever beneath the seat in five settings .

Adjustable seat: The seat cushion can be adjusted individually in both height and depth. This is especially practical for people with long legs to ensure an optimum sitting posture. Ideally, there should be a gap of around two to three finger widths between the front edge of the seat and the backs of your knees.

Height-adjustable armrests: The slim armrests of the FlexiSpot BS13 are height-adjustable, allowing you to rest your forearms comfortably.

If you are still undecided , it is also worth finding out about alternative desk chairs . A comparable chair from hjh OFFICE is the office chair COLORE . It also features a modern tone-on-tone design and is available in red, blue, black and a light grey. At the moment, this colourful alternative is priced at 349,90 € (as of 9/24). The two models are similar in both design and features.  Just like the FlexiSpot BS13, the seat is upholstered in a durable fabric and the backrest is covered with a breathable mesh material. The COLORE also comes with seat depth adjustment and a padded, height-adjustable lumbar support. The hjh OFFICE office chair also features 3D armrests, which can be adjusted not only in height, but also in depth and angle .  The backrest resistance of the COLORE can be continuously adjusted using a dial under the seat, allowing for more precise customisation.

Unlike the FlexiSpot BS13, the comparable model COLORE is equipped with a high-quality synchronous mechanism  built in, allowing the seat to move together with the backrest in an approximate ratio of 1:3. This provides even better support for your body throughout the working day. The backrest tilt and the counter-pressure can be adjusted entirely individually rather than in fixed stages .
The colourful alternative from hjh OFFICE also features load-dependent braked office chair castors, which prevent the chair from rolling away unintentionally when not under load, providing an additional safety factor.

First things first: an ergonomic office chair should be a standard feature in every workspace. Whether in the office or your home office, an ergonomically designed workspace is essential for professional success as well as physical and mental well-being. All in all, both models are design highlights in the office chair sector, with their tone-on-tone design making them a real eye-catcher. However, if you place particular importance on ergonomics in an office chair, so that it supports you even on long working days and also offers optimum adjustability, the hjh OFFICE COLORE is the ideal choice. It is more affordable and offers you more ergonomic features and functions. If you are still unsure even after your purchase, both manufacturers offer a 60-day trial sitting period.
