The office cabinet with sliding door - a good choice
Basically, office cabinets with sliding doors can be differentiated as follows:
Default:
The classic among filing cabinets. It is space-saving and you can store all folders and documents directly behind your desk chair and access them easily without requiring a lot of space between the chair and the cabinet. Your surroundings always appear tidy because even a bag or a bicycle helmet can be quickly stowed away.
Lockable:
If the stored documents and utensils also need to be stored safely, then the lockable sliding door cabinet is the solution for you. Since there are always documents that need to be protected, even our standard models always have a lockable shelf compartment.
Partially open:
This option is ideal if you need quick and regular access to the documents in the cupboard. The sliding door can be easily pushed back and forth here. However, keep in mind that such a cupboard should be well tidy so as not to appear untidy and that more dust collects here than in a closed cupboard.
What is the difference between sliding door and sliding door?
With a sliding door wardrobe, the door is only attached to the top edge of the cabinet, which creates a “floating” effect and is slightly quieter. With a sliding door wardrobe, on the other hand, the door runs on a rail at both the top and bottom, which means more stability and security overall and is also more durable. Sliding door wardrobes are mainly used in bedrooms or living rooms. Sliding door wardrobes are usually preferred in the office environment.
The advantages of the sliding door wardrobe
In summary, an office cabinet with sliding doors offers you the following advantages:
- Saves space when the doors are open
- Can be placed within easy reach around the desk so that your documents are close at hand
- Efficient design ensures plenty of storage space and optimal use of space
- Easy opening allows efficient work
- The lock enables the safe storage of sensitive documents
- The simple, modern design can be easily integrated into your given environment and makes the sliding door wardrobe a pretty accessory
The only disadvantage of a sliding door wardrobe is if you want to see the entire contents of your cupboard at the same time. Since the sliding door always covers part of the cupboard contents, this is not possible. In our experience, however, this requirement rarely comes into play, which is why the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages.
In any case, remember to clean the door rails regularly to keep the doors running smoothly on the rails.
